ATHERTON, John (1900 - 1952). Buy a Share in America. 1941. Washington: U.S. Government Printing Office. Photomontage poster encouraging American workers to purchase Defense Bonds. This won first prize in a National Defense Poster Competition sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art in 1941.
This is the largest of three sizes.
Linen backed. 56 x 42".
Condition
Minor creases and faint folds, light edgewear. A-.
