Edinburgh: Adam & Charles Black, 1850. Folio. Complete with 61 hand-colored steel engraved maps (12 of which are double-page). xiv, 12, 58 pp. Contemporary half purple morocco over purple cloth, spine ruled in gilt and black, spine lettered in gilt, five raised bands, yellow-coated endleaves (binding worn and soiled, corners bumped and heavily worn, hinges reinforced, some foxing, soiling to text and maps, front blank and title-page creased). Very good. FIRST EDITION THUS. This edition has countries fully-colored.
