Aurora Zouaves scrapbook. Bulk 1890s. Folio ledger book (18 x 11") from the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railway, with 37 pages used as a scrapbook of ephemera relating to the Aurora Zouaves, including several large multicolor broadsides announcing the appearance of the Zouaves, with military drills and reenactments of famous battles; many news clippings and ephemera, including ticket stubs, calling cards / passes, two miniature or "gem" tintypes of Zouaves, and more. Most pieces pasted in, a few items loosely laid in.
Condition
Some chipping and tears at edges with occasional losses and discoloration; shaken.
