Bakelite Colors in Styrene Sample Case with 100 Different Colored Chips. Bakelite Company, ca. 1930s. Original green cloth sample case with cardboard insert housing all 100 Bakelite styrene chip samples. Each chip stamped with color and control number, approximately 2 ? x 1 ??. Case 14 x 10 x 3?. With printed ?Bakelite Colors in Styrene? insert for inner top lid (inserted sheet is loose). Some wear, light soiling to case and insert. Excellent and rare.
