Ball and Handkerchief Vase. Los Angeles: F.G. Thayer, ca. 1920. A billiard ball in a wooden vase transposes locations with a handkerchief in the magician's hands. Maple vase lacquered in black; red ball, diameter 1 7/8?. Accompanied by two matching wooden handkerchief balls and two handkerchiefs. In a custom wooden case. Very good. Uncommon. Klosterman collection label. An outstanding example of Floyd Thayer's masterful woodturning.
