BALLANTINE, Bill (American, 1910 ? 1999). Two Illustrations of Horses by Ballantine. Including the cover illustration for a book titled Horses at Work, and a smaller drawing in Ballantine?s trademark whimsical style of a horse with its mouth held open by a ?mouth speculum?. The larger 17 x 12 ??. The latter signed by Ballantine, and possibly used in his 1964 book, Horses and Their Bosses.
