BARNUM, P.T. Autograph note signed. Bridgeport: 30 December 1886. One a sheet of Barnum's "P.T. Barnum's Office" lined stationery, addressed to Dear Prof. Ward, informing him that he has sent him a porcupine to mount as taxidermy: "I sent a porcupine to you yesterday. Please credit its value to the Barnum Show unless Prof. Marshall writes you that the Tufts Museum will pay you for mounting it for them."
