BARNUM, Phineas Taylor. Autograph Letter Signed, to ?Bertie.? London: Feb. 2, [n.d., ca. 1880s]. ALS on a folded sheet of Hotel Victoria stationery (8 x 5?), to Bertie (Bertrand Smith), informing Smith he is out of town for the day but will return in the evening, and hoping Smith will call on him on his return or on another day. With printed envelope from the same hotel, addressed in Barnum?s hand to Smith. Old central fold.
