[BASEBALL]. Color Lithograph from a Large Sample Book for Custom-Made Baseball Uniforms (?Play Ball?). [1917]. Color lithograph on recto, wool fabric sample page (no cloth samples still present). On thin board. Matted, affixed at top of mat with later tape. Sheet size 22 x 16?. Mat size 24 ? x 19 ??. Some soiling to lithograph. Very good. Rare. ?A well groomed team gains in popularity. Popularity breeds success, and success wins games, and games with the pennant.? From the Mark Rucker Collection.
