[BASEBALL]. Early retouched silver gelatin print of the Brooklyn Mohawk baseball team. Circa. 1867. Print depicts 9 baseball players in similar uniforms. Approximately 10 x 13 ??. With the following pencil notations on verso: ?Grandfather?s baseball team He was about 20 yrs of age Albert Steiner ? 3rd from left ? outfielder + manager Gentleman?s baseball team in Brooklyn before the game became a national affair.? Edged in brown tape, some wear, a few scuff marks on front of print. A very good and early photo of a baseball team.
