- Lot Description
[BASEBALL]. Group of Two Lithographed Leaves from a Tobacco Card Album. [ca. 1888]. Colorful album leaves with two small holes at upper margins. Rectos blank. Both leaves approximately 7 x 10?. Minor toning, rubbing. Excellent. These leaves have spaces to have tobacco cards affixed to them (no cards included). All of the sports cards (only one card space is for baseball; the other sports featured are boxing, pigeon shooting, foot ball (American style), pole vaulting, archery and more) have beautiful women in the foreground and the named sports shown in the background.
