HOUDINI, Beatrice (1876 - 1943). Beatrice Houdini's Green Feathered Hat. Circa 1930s. Green felt hat with silk band and swooping green feather adornment, owned and worn by Beatrice Houdini, wife and performing partner of Harry Houdini. In a vintage hatbox. Diameter at widest point 7 1/2".

- Provenance
LOA accompanying the hat states that was formerly part of the Milbourne Christopher Collection, and that the notation on the hatbox in Mrs. Christopher's hand identifies the hat as Mrs. Houdini's. The LOA traces the same provenance of Mrs. Houdini's ring, also offered in this sale.
