- Lot Description
Benjamin Harrison: Graphic 1888 Paper Lantern. Some collectors refer to this style of paper lantern as a "Beachball". Each panel measures 7" across at the center and is approximately 18" tall. The graphics are simply amazing. Has images of Benjamin Harrison and Levi Morton, a log cabin with "Tippecanoe And Tyler Too!", harkening back to his Grandfather William Henry Harrison and his 1840 campaign, an image of U.S. Grant and a campaign flag. A remarkable survivor from the 1888 presidential race.
Condition
Minor wrinkles and small 1" cut on the flag image. Overall in fine condition with the original stretcher.
