[BENTON Thomas Hart, (1889-1975), illustrator]. PARKMAN, Francis (1823-1893). The Oregon Trail. New York: Doubleday, Doran & Co., 1945. 8vo. Illustrated with color plates. [329] pp. Original brown cloth with dark brown stamped illustration on front board, brown and gilt-stamped title on spine, in original slipcase (cloth spine a bit toned, and lightly soiled, slipcase worn, creased, some chipping). Very good. #497/1,000 COPIES SIGNED BY BENTON.
