Original quarter red levant over vellum boards, raised bands, gilt titling and framing in compartments, all edges gilt, Ravilious patterned endpapers; original red morocco edged cloth covered slipcase. LIMITED EDITION, number 1 of 7 copies reserved by arrangement with the publisher for fine binding by Zaehnsdorf and signed by Richards on introduction leaf, from a total edition of 500 copies. An important catalogue raison?e of wood engravings by Ravilious.
