Contemporary red crushed levant, raised bands, gilt?lettering in compartments, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt dentelles, gilt stamp?signed by Maclehose of Glasgow (light rubbing to joints). Provenance: Thomas Glen Arthur (bookplate). FIRST EDITION, in a handsome binding.
