[BLUE, Ben, Canadian-American, 1901-1975, association]. Two original oil paintings from the collection of actor-comedian-nightclub owner Ben Blue, including: BLUE, Robert (American, 1946-1998). Two Women on the Grass. 1964. On canvas. Signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Framed. Sight 26 ? x 17 ??. Frame size 32 ? x 23 ??. Robert Blue was the son of Ben Blue and was an artist known for his pin-up artwork. Includes BLUE, Axie (American, 1917-1997). Abstract Egyptian Scene. [N.d.]. Canvas on board. Signed by the artist at the lower left corner. Framed. Sight 20 x 15 ??. Frame size 26 ? x 22 ??. Good condition. Axie Blue (n?e Dunlap) was an actress and painter, and was Ben Blue?s second wife.
