[BOOK] TAYLOR, Ruth (1899-?), illustrator. ? TAYLOR, Frank J. (text). Our U.S.A.: A Gay Geography. Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1935. Oblong 4to (9 ? x 13?). Publisher?s cloth stamped in navy (frayed at edges and ends, several stains and scuffs). FIRST EDITION. Illustrated with 54 color full-page pictorial maps by Taylor, including the 48 states and District of Columbia, territories including Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Philippines, Porto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Panama Canal Zone, and American Samoa, and the United States as a whole. Pictorial endpapers designed by Taylor depict double hemisphere world maps. Occasional light finger-soiling; faint graphite notations on index; generally bright and clean.
