London: William Miller, 1810. 4tos. Illustrated with frontispieces and several plates, facsimiles, intertextual illustrations. 3 volumes. Bound with half-titles. Half-titles, title-pages and several pages printed in red and black. Bound in half brown calf over marbled boards, boards stamped in blind, spines gilt, brown gilt morocco lettering and numbered labels, marbled edges and endleaves (bindings somewhat worn, spines a bit sunned, some occasional soiling, foxing in text). Very good. FIRST DIBDIN EDITION OF THIS MONUMENTAL HISTORY OF ENGLISH PRINTING. Offered with: the prospectus for this work, in original wrappers (worn, wrappers detached).
