Box of 1950s Wrigley's sample chewing gum. Plain carton stamped Apr. 25, 1956 on lid with name "Mr. Near" in pencil, holding six small packages of sample Wrigley gum (typically 4 or 5 pieces in each package). Includes Wrigley's P.K., Spearmint, Doublemint, Juicy Fruit, and Arrowmint.
Each set wrapped in paper with typed notes on the date of manufacture, broken, coated, and wrapped.
An unusual set possibly for internal research and testing.
3 x 7 1/2 x 2".
Condition
Tape discoloration on outer notepaper wrappers.
