[BRANSOM, Paul, 1885-1979, illustrator]. RUTLEDGE, Archibald (1883-1973). Hunter?s Choice. West Hartford: The Countryman Press, [1946]. 4to. Illustrated. Publisher?s full burgundy cloth, front board and spine stamped in green and gilt with oval pictorial label on front board (spine and front board lightly sunned, spine bumped at tailcap); publisher?s slipcase with pictorial label (worn, soiled, with a few splits at joints). FIRST EDITION, ONE OF 475 COPIES (unnumbered) signed by Bransom and Rutledge. Rutledge was the first South Carolina Poet Laureate.
