Publisher?s pebbled royal blue cloth lettered in red, red top stain (spine a little sunned, contemporary ownership signature to ffep); original dust jacket with the ?$2.00? price on spine panel. FIRST EDITION of this unusual title for its time as the hero wages war against the U.S. Calvary to maintain life and dignity for his Native people, showing the empathy ERB had towards the indigenous population.
