BURROUGHS, Edgar Rice (1875-1950). Group of Seven First Edition Tarzan Books. [V.p.]: A. C. McClurg and Metropolitan, 1915-30. 8vos. All illustrated as issued. 7 volumes. Publisher?s cloth bindings (generally worn, soiled, gilt on spines toned, occasional ownership markings, creases, text toned). Generally good or better. Titles include: The Return of Tarzan (hinges cracked, endleaves loose), The Beasts of Tarzan, The Son of Tarzan (first issue without dedication page), Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar, Tarzan at the Earth?s Core, Tarzan and the Golden Lion (one plate is loose but present), Tarzan the Terrible.
