Frontispiece. 318, [1, ads], [1, blank] pp. Publisher?s full blue cloth, front board and spine lettered in red, publisher?s unclipped dust jacket (cloth edgeworn and soiled, endleaves offset, upper edge of text block soiled; jacket verso with tape at upper and lower margins with tape residue visible on recto, jacket edgeworn, with marginal short creased tears and chips). A good copy in a fair jacket. FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST NOVEL PUBLISHED BY BURROUGHS OWN COMPANY. The first four titles were not marked ?First Edition? on the copyright page.
