BURROUGHS, Edgar Rice (1875-1950). Typed document signed (?Edgar Rice Burroughs?) for the publication of ?The Warlords of Mars?. July 23, 1919. 2 pp. typed, rectos only, 4to (330 x 210 mm). Later hand annotations by an unknown hand. A contractual agreement between Burroughs and A. C. McClurg for the publication of the manuscript entitled ?The Warlords of Mars?. The book is to be sold at retail for $1.40 and Burroughs is to receive royalties of 15%. SIGNED BY BURROUGHS and countersigned by the president of A. C. McClurg, Joseph Bray, and two witnesses.
