New York: Mitchell Kennerley, 1916. 12mo. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING. INSCRIBED BY BYNNER: ?For Ladd Haystead/ these laughs and others/ from/ Emanuel Morgan/ Santa Fe/ Fiesta Time 1926?. Publisher?s light gray paper cover boards decorated and printed in black (head and heal of spine chipped, joints rubbed; bright inscription). A spoof that set out to satirize the high seriousness of ?Imagism,? ?futurism,? and the pretensions of literary movements in general, but the hoax was taken seriously by the public, the press, and more than a few poets.
