Publisher?s pale brown cloth, title and author stamped in blind, pictorial paper label overlay on gilt box to front board, printed paper spine label overlay on gilt box, pictorial endpapers. Frontispiece. Illustrated by Rockwell Kent with 22 plates, pictorial title, and several in text illustrations. Tall 8vo. Light toning to lower edge of front and spine, gift inscription to front flyleaf, else clean.
