Card to Canary (Bird Box). London: Joseph Bland, ca. 1880. Exceedingly handsome burled wooden box with inlaid brass ornaments. A card placed in the chest changes into a live canary when the lid is closed, then opened. Original key. Instructions. 4 ? x 3 ? x 4 ??.
