Casper Dancing Handkerchief used and signed by John Calvert. White cotton pocket handkerchief used in Calvert?s famous ?Casper? routine. One corner still tied in a knot. Signed by Calvert. John Calvert (1911 ? 2013) was dubbed a ?real-life Indiana Jones? by his biographer William V. Rauscher. A movie star, adventurer, pilot, and boat-captain, he is best remembered as a successful illusionist whose career spanned two centuries. He performed worldwide, and Casper the Dancing Handkerchief was one of his trademark routines.
