[CATALOGS]. Louis Vuitton 1887 catalog. 8vo. Illustrated. Original printed wrappers. Lacking single sheet pp. 14-15. Overstamp on upper cover announcing move in December 1889 to new location at 454 Strand, W.C. Opposing pages in French and English. Founded in Paris in 1854, Louis Vuitton opened its first store in London in 1885 and from there quickly expanded throughout Europe and into the United States. No institutional copies located. A very rare and desirable copy.
