The Book of the Fair: An Historical and Descriptive Presentation of the World?s Science, Art, and Industry, as Viewed through the Columbian Exposition? Chicago and San Francisco: The Bancroft Company, 1893. 10 volumes, elephant folio (559 x 425 mm). Titles printed in red and black, numerous illustrations from photographs and drawings, plus several maps of the fair. Publisher?s duo?tone brown linen lettered and stamped in gilt, top edge gilt (light spotting or occasional dust soiling to covers, upper cover to Vol. 10 unevenly toned, otherwise fine). LIMITED EDITION, number 528 of 950 copies from the ?Fin de Si?cle Edition?. An attractive set RARELY SEEN COMPLETE.
