Chinese Nesting Boxes. Holland: Eddy Taytelbaum, ca. 1950. Pair of nesting wooden boxes with hand cut copper emblems and trim. Among Taytelbaum's earliest creations produced upon moving to Holland, with visual motifs he would regularly use on later apparatus. Larger box 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 x 3?. Smaller box 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/4. Very good overall; minor scuffing and dustiness to each box.
