MORETTO, Toni (1929 - 2011). Chung Ling Soo Bullet Catch Sculpture. Circa 1995. Detailed ceramic sculpture shows the "Marvelous Chinese Conjuror" with a plate in his hand and two marksmen with rifles pointed toward him, in a comical reimagining of his Bullet Catch effect, the trick that would tragically end Soo's life in 1918 when he was shot on stage during a performance at London's Wood Green Empire. 13 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 7 1/4". Third party transportation required.
