Full crushed red niger with single gilt fillet border, 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, 3 compartments with gilt tooled centerpieces of the London Griffin, gilt?lettering in remainder, all edges gilt (spines very gently sunned, else fine). FIRST ENGLISH EDITION of Churchill?s complete history on World War II, including: The Gathering Storm; Their Finest Hour; The Grant Alliance; The Hinge of Fate; Closing the Ring; and Triumph and Tragedy.
