[CIVIL WAR]. YEARY, Mamie (1876-1922). Reminiscences of the Boys in Gray 1861-1865. Dallas, TX: Published for the Author by Smith & Lamar Publishing House by the Press of Wilkinson Printing Company, [1912]. Large 8vo. Illustrated. Publisher's full burgundy cloth, front board and spine stamped in gilt, edges marbled (gilt on spine faded, gilt on front board scuffed with some loss, binding rubbing, previous owner's pencil gift inscription on ffep., occasionally soiled, front hinge dampstained and starting, rear hinge repaired, first several leaves (about 100 or so) dampstained at inner lower corner, some toning, light dampstaining to edge of text-block). Very good. THE RARE FIRST EDITION. ?Recollections of dozens of Confederate veterans living in Texas in the early 1900's?" (Nevins II). From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy.
