- Lot Description
Collection of John Calvert Photographs and Other Ephemera, Many Signed. Over 200 items, the majority organized in binders by the former owner and including a foulard used in the 1954 movie ?The Silver Chalice,? signed and inscribed by Calvert to Bill Rauscher (dated 1984); four thick binders filled with movie stills from films Calvert starred or appeared in, the majority signed by Calvert; photos of Calvert performing magic; publicity photos; postcards; programs and advertising; and other ephemera from his career. Also includes John Calvert Centennial Celebration tokens, two from the edition of 1,000 and one from the edition of 100. Also included in the lot are personal letters to Ray and Ann Goulet, personal snapshots, greeting cards, and a copy of Calvert?s obituary.
