[COMPOSERS]. RESPIGHI, Ottorino (1879-1936). Signed Page of an Autograph Book. 1935. Signed by Respighi in 1935 and by his wife, Elsa, in 1941. One 12mo leaf. An illegible autograph is on the verso. Approximately 5 ? x 3 ??. Toned, some soiling, a small piece of tape at top and bottom. Very good. Respighi was one of the most important Italian composers and violinists of the twentieth century. He wrote operas, ballets, and much more. One of his most famous pieces, Pines of Rome, was featured in the Walt Disney Studios film, Fantasia 2000. From the collection of fantasy/sci fi collector Greg Phillips. Measurements: 5 ? x 3 3/74?.
