FIRST EDITION set of five (of six) color offset lithograph poster maps on linen paper, after Covarrubias? murals designed for the Pacific House at the 1939-40 San Francisco Golden Gate International Exposition. Comprising: I. People of the Pacific. -- II. Fauna and Flora of the Pacific. -- III. Art Forms of the Pacific. ? IV. Economy of the Pacific. -- VI. Native Means of Transportation in the Pacific. Plates I-IV 25 ? x 38?. Plate VI 19 x 25 ??. Lacks Plate V for completion. Originally issued in a portfolio; these examples individually linen backed. Bright and clean examples with minimal restoration along original vertical folds and edges. A-/B+.
