LIMITED EDITION, number 431 of 2,000 copies, SIGNED by Cowley and photographer Berenice Abbott on the colophon. Illustrated with plates from contemporary photographs by Abbott, Alvin Langdon Coburn, Man Ray, Walker Evans, etc. Publisher?s brown cloth backed decorative boards, spine titled in silver, housed in original slipcase. LEC monthly letter (December 1981) laid in. FINE.
