Contemporary half calf over marbled boards, marbled endpapers. Illustrated with 5 engraved plates (one folding) as called for + a full two-page folded engraving and laid-in with 11 various engravings of Cromwell. 4to. Front board separated but holding, covers rubbed, joints and spine dry, contemporary booksellers ticket affixed to front pastedown; contents clean.
