Crumbs of Merit. Gold Crumbs Sign. Reidsville, NC: F.R. Penn Tobacco Co., ca. 1900s. Embossed tin sign advertising Gold Crumbs tobacco. Image depicts a man sitting in a chair with a bag of Gold Crumbs Tobacco. A woman stands behind him, lighting his pipe. A sign on the wall of the image depicts another Gold Crumbs sign, creating an advertisement within an advertisement. Framed. 23 x 17?. Minor denting to the image. Very good.
