[CUPS AND BALLS / FORTUNE TELLING]. Two Lithographs From ?La Caricature." French, 1830s. Including: No. 55. Jules David, ?Tenez Messieurs, Voici Trois Muscades." Finely hand-colored lithograph depicts Louis Philippe as a conjuror, performing the Cups and Balls. Marginal tears and creases. Staining and paper loss at bottom left corner. Repair visible at verso. And No. 64. Charles Joseph Travies, "Bonne aveuture." Dawes label to verso. Creasing, staining, hole, foxing. Both with lengthy descriptive texts in French. B-/C+. One with mount and mat, 16 x 22".
