This is an auction replete with standouts. Works by Magritte, Tamayo, Paschke, Wirsum and multiple mixed media collages and prints from the celebrated Tony Fitzpatrick will cross the block. A significant work by Bill Traylor leads the Outsider Art session, alongside major works by Finster, Yoakum, Dial, Sparrow, and Dawson. DALÍ, Salvador (Spanish, 1904–1989). Two Etchings from The Five Spanish Immortals: Cervantes and Don Quixote. Circa 1965. Each signed in the plate. Each plate approximately: 6 3/4 x 4 3/4". Frame: 15 1/4 x 12 1/4 x 1".
A Certificate of Authentication from the Société de Vérification de la Nouvelle Gravure Internationale of New York and Paris adhered to each reverse.
Condition
Each minor cockling and mount burn, otherwise good.
Both behind glass. Neither examined out of the frame.
