Dante (Harry August Jansen). Dante?s Sand Canisters. Glendale: Loyd, ca. 1950. A quantity of sand is poured into a large metal canister from a smaller canister until the large canister is overflowing. Even so, the magician can continually fill the larger canister to overflowing as many as four times. Largest canister stands 11 ?? high. With original boxes, each lid signed and inscribed in pencil in Dante?s hand ?Personal property Dante.? Uncommon.
