(James B. Findlay?1904 - 1973). On a photograph of himself seated and smoking a pipe, he writes ?To/My Friend Jimmy from Edwin Dearn 6/1/1971? (recto); ?Dreaming my way down ?Memory Lane? In all the Luxury of calm retirement ~ ?Oh Memories That Bless & Burn?! Aye Sincerely, Edwin ?The Hermit of Larchwood? (verso). Sizes vary, largest approx. 8? x 10?. Condition commensurate with age. Sold with: VERNON, Dai (David Frederick Wingfield Verner?1894???1992), and Lewis Ganson, ed. (1913 ? 1980). Malini and His Magic. London: Harry Stanley, (c. 1959). SIGNED AND INSCRIBED on front flyleaf by Ganson. Dearn contributed the text for this volume?s Chapter Nine. 8vo. Illustrated.
