[DEVANT, David (1868?1941)]. Glasgow Society of Magicians (G.S.M.) Portrait. Glasgow: Studio Cecil, 1919. Oversized image of the Scottish magic club, with inscription verso dated 1956. Pictured are De Vega (Alex M. Stewart), Chris Van Bern, David Devant, Gustave Fasola, and Jack Ledair (each identified in pencil on the photo), among others. 9 ? x 11 ?. Scuffing, creasing, wear, and minor stains. Small loss to the upper right corner. [Together with] a 1947 summer season program for Maskelyne & Devant at the Westminster Theatre. [And] an advertisement for the book Wessex Wizardry by WM. G. Strickland (forward by Devant), with a short blurb from Devant. Stamped Los Angeles: Thayer Mfg. Co.
