Die Box (The Magic Rabbit). Brooklyn: D. Robbins, ca. 1955. A box with two compartments is shown empty and a block with a rabbit motif is placed inside. The typical die box by-play ensues and when both doors are opened the block has vanished, only to reappear in a previously shown empty hat. The only example of a cardboard die box we?ve encountered. With original box and instructions. 3 x 3 ? x 7?. Highly fragile with some yellowing tape and chipping, but a scarce survivor.
