DOUGLASS, Frederick (1818-1895). Cabinet Card Portrait of Douglass. Rochester, NY: JH. H. Kent, Photographer, [ca. 1880s]. Handsome cabinet card portrait of a three-quarter profile of Douglass on photographer's mount. Approximately 6 ? x 4 ?". Photographer's printed credit on verso. Light toning, rubbing, two minor scuff-marks on verso of mount. Fine. Cabinet card portraits of Douglass are rare, and this one is a wonderful example. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 6 ? x 4 ?".
