[DOYLE, Arthur Conan (1859-1930), contributor]. Princess Mary?s Gift Book. Toronto: Hodder & Stoughton, n.d. [1914]. Small 4to. Numerous color illustrations mounted on brown paper, including one by Arthur Rackham (also 5 in black-and-white, in-text illustrations throughout. Original printed cream cloth; original dust jacket (extremities sunned); publisher?s presentation box with printed labels (soiling, separation at folds, edgewear). FIRST EDITION, Canada issue, published simultaneously with the London imprint. Rare in the original jacket and box. Arthur Conan Doyle contributed the short-story ?Bimbashi Joyce?. Latimore & Haskell, p. 43.
