Eastern Star Light Box. (Order of the Eastern Star). Circa 1940s. Wood, glass, paint, and wiring with light bulbs. Tested and in working order. Light box 41 h x 32 ? w x 9" d. Pedestal 32 h x 17 w x 17". D. Overall when assembled. 83 h x 32 ? w x 17" d. This object was used as a teaching device. The Order of the Eastern Star is?the largest fraternal organization in the world open to both men and women, with a focus on charitable, educational, and fraternal activities. Top section leans slightly. A section of wood originally used for holding light box has been reglued. It is best to use screws which are also used to hold the piece together. Third-party transportation required. Largest 41 h x 32 ? w x 9" d.
